Hiring MAVOs
A MAVO is a medical transportation professional who operates a wheelchair transit vehicle. He or she assists and transports patients who require assistance because of disabilities. The MAVO will transport the patients to and from personal medical appointments. Our MAVO drivers ensure that all patients get the A&M promise. We are looking to employ a MAVO (Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator) driver who ensures outstanding customer service skills. You must have an incident-free driving record and at least three years of driving experience. You must be reliable, have excellent time management skills, and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties
As a MAVO, your duties & responsibilities will include:

Driving patients (of all ages) to and from appointments.

Provide ancillary assistance to passengers (ie. holding umbrellas in wet weather, loading and unloading baggage and luggage.)

Follow all company guidelines when in medical vehicles.

Perform CPR, as necessary.

Be familiar with OSHA regulations and policies.
Job Requirements
We are looking for
qualified candidates who have:

At least three years of driving experience

Have an incident-free driving record

Can pass a background check and drug screening
-
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Are physically fit to assist patients, including lifting and supporting individuals as needed
